well, leaving the sign of the Twins also means leaving the sign of childhood and entering into a sign that speaks to the responsibilities of Motherhood...
Cancer has everything to do with the archetype of Motherhood, so feel free to riff on that for yourself...
but this business of responsibilities can be pretty heavy...
Cancer rules the 4th House, and although I don't make use of the House symbolism for this lunar horoscope, those of us born with planets in the 4th House face the responsibility of healing old family wounds that were left un-tended by our ancestors...
Cancer is also ruled by Luna herself, so in essence the whole idea of a Lunar horoscope takes on that same responsibility...
we're here to deal with the wounds of the world...
not so much the contemporary ones, because I don't think anyone who isn't living the life of an honest to god mystic has the capacity for that, or even just a real clue as to how it could be accomplished...
no...
those of you tuning into this horoscope have taken on a responsibility to care for what's happened in the Past, and to change it by nurturing your own soul and nature and spirit...
and one way to do that is to care about and for your own Intuition...

facts alone do not constitute Truth...
Truth requires context...
and that's where your Intuition comes in...
it picks up on context and makes connections that logic alone can't find...

actually, it's the sins of the elders, meaning, the ancestors...
given that we're all human, there are still plenty of those sins to go around...

you don't have to suffer in someone else's place...
you just have to work at developing your Intuition in order to uncover and recover Truth...
there are an awful lot of layers to go through to get at it, but your Intuition is like a metal detector...
consider yourself one of the Detectorists...

synchronicity and the horoscope...
here's how to use the horoscope to train your own intuition:
don’t think of it as predictive news...
use it as an exercise — especially after the moment has passed...
look for things that sound like descriptions of events from your day — uncannily direct is great, but oddly familiar is even better...
astrology is all metaphor, you know?
as your intuition grows, you’ll learn to trust it more and more — and that’s when you’ll start appreciating the synchronicities for what they really are: affirmations from Psyche telling you that you’re on the right track...
then, like Hansel and Gretel’s breadcrumbs, all you have to do is see where they lead....
