welcome to episode 39 of kristo's astrology... here's my reading of the Zeitgeist for Saturday, April 25th 2020

Taurean Luna Trines Capricorn Jupiter (in his Conjunction to Pluto, Square to Aries Mercury, and Quintile to Aries Chiron) @1:43 AM UTC-0/GMT and goes Void of Course for 6 hours and 37 minutes

if yesterday gave us a moment of Kairos, today offers us a chance for a healing dream... this is what was known as incubation in the ancient world... and that, makes yesterday's opportunity in Kairos the opportunity for catharsis...

you can read all about it in wikipedia, but I want to read that for you here at the end of today's episode...

Luna enters Gemini @ 8:20 AM, and Aries Mercury exactly Squares Capricorn Pluto @8:36 AM

you've got a pretty powerful idea about what you could — and should — be doing all in the name of a cure...

you'll just have to wrestle with your natural reluctance to implement them...

Luna Trines Aquarian Saturn (in his Quincunx to the Cancer Dragon’s Head) @11:47 AM

this is what's known as innovation... even as you're reviving something out of the past...

just put away all thoughts and feelings of Guilt... they're only there for you to know how it feels to ignore them...

Luna exactly Quintiles unaspected Piscean Neptune @12:24 PM

this is just one hell of a straight-up synchronicity to knock your socks off...

Pluto turns Retrograde @7:54 PM

this, of course, means that the challenge of transformation we're all facing is still slowly evolving...

the global culture is changing, evolving and transforming...

the astrology says that all the new construction dust will settle right around the time Pluto turns direct, namely after October 4th...

things will begin lightening up in August, but it won't be over till it's over in October...

so in the meantime, let me read you what wikipedia has to say about that business of catharsis and incubation I mentioned earlier...

and what I mean is that this Moon Trine Pluto today (with his super-strong Quintile to Chiron) brings up an image of a different healer: namely, Asklepios...

so here's the deal with Asklepios and healing:

"Signature to asclepian medicine was its holistic approach to patient care. It emphasized therapy through the natural environment, hence the carefully chosen locations (the most famous of which was at Eidaurus), as well as care for the patient's psychological and emotional states.

By attending to these things, the patient's innate healing mechanisms were activated.

There were two steps to treatment in the asclepeion. The first was the Katharsis or purification stage. This is when a patient undergoes a series of baths and other methods of purging, such as a clean diet over a series of several days as well as purging their emotions through art.

The patient would then make an offering such as money or a prayer to the temple, and therefore to Asclepius. Then the priest of the temple would give the patient a prayer which would ease the patient's mind and create a more positive, healing outlook.

Afterwards, came the incubation or dream therapy.

Patients would sleep in the “Abaton” or “Enkoimeterion,” which was a dormitory located in the asclepeion. As they slept, they were visited by Asclepius or his daughters Hygeia and Panacea.

These dream visitations were prognostic, revealing the projected course of the disease and ultimate patient outcomes. Patients would also discover what it was they needed to do once they woke, in order to treat their disease.

Upon awakening, the patient would recount their dream to a temple priest, who would then prescribe a treatment based on their interpretation of the dream."

The article also says: "The god Asclepius had certain totem animals in whose guise he liked to visit the supplicants as they slept. These were the dog, the rooster, and the snake."

Now, what's interesting about the snake, in particular, is that snakes were always kept in these asklepia... and since they were considered incarnations of Asklepios himself, they required special treatment... so when it came to feeding them, that meant giving them very special food, which was in fact: moles... those burrowing animals reputed to be blind, or at least have very poor eyesight...

according to Karl Kerenyi's book on Asklepios, once these animals became too scarce to find, the temple priests substituted mice for moles, but in order to make them special enough for the snake-gods, they devised a ritual in which the mice were chased down and blinded with sticks...

I don't recall if he cited this as the ancient origin of the nursery rhyme... but it certainly makes for an intuitive synchronicity...

all of this leads me to a very particular place... that is: I'm now offering to do just this sort of thing for you...

let me explain...

reading someone's birthchart always suggests something important about and for that person in terms of some action they might take or direction they might start going in that would bring them not only satisfaction, but a kind of personal transformative healing...

I'm not necessarily suggesting physical healing, but thinking more in terms of spiritual and emotional well-being and healing... and not that this would be coming out of thin air...

what I've observed is that the suggestion arising from a birthchart reading (or even a solar return reading) is that something is instantly recognized and known to resonate on a deep level...

often it's something you secretly (or maybe even not so secretly) want, but have never given yourself permission to believe possible...

well that's the gist of this... I'm now going to be offering such readings accompanied by these astrologic, asklepian prescriptions for well-being...

so if you're interested, please just This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it....

okay, well, that's all for now... thanks for listening... have a great day, and I'll see you tomorrow...

Alrighty then... ciao a tutti...

talk to me...
