October 18, 2020 : Luna's in Scorpio - it's a day of Tells

welcome to episode 26 of the third season of kristo's astrology...

here's my reading of the Zeitgeist for Sunday, October 18th, 2020

**all times reported here are in UTC-0 (Universal Coordinated Time) or GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)... please adjust according to your own Time Zone... if you're not sure about the time zone difference, you can find that here: Time Zone Map

just a reminder: don't sweat it if the numbers or hours are confusing... I'm with you on that...

calculating the times for these transits requires simple arithmetic, which is something I have absolutely no intuition for…

as a matter of fact, I had a professor once who said that if you can’t calculate numbers in your head, how can you do calculus…?

to which I say… um, I’m delighted not to have to…

anyway… just know that each of the planetary influences wax and wane over hours, days, and sometimes months or years...!

let your Intuition own the changes, and so whenever you observe a synchronicity, that jibes with what you’ve heard from me…

perfect…! because it shows that YOU and YOUR Intuition are on the money...

’nuff said…

okay:

Scorpio Luna BiQuintiles unaspected Aries Chiron @1:32 AM UTC-0 / GMT

expect to feel incredibly lucky today...

this isn't dodging a bullet, this is hitting the bullseye — blindfolded...

who knows what this is gonna look like, especially since it will be different for each of us...

and yet, the image I'm getting is all William Tell...

and we're simultaneously on both sides of that exchange...

Luna Quintiles Capricorn Saturn (in his Quincunx to the Gemini Dragon's Head) @3:31 AM

consider this an astrologic doubling down on that earlier fortunate moment...

Scorpio Mercury (in his / her Opposition to Taurean Uranus) exactly Quintiles Capricorn Pluto (in his Square to Aries Mars, Trine to Virgo Venus, and Quincunx to the Dragon's Head) @5:02 AM

there ARE less pleasant astrologic moments ahead today...

for now, though, we're riding a wave of great good fortune...

it's as if someone has tried to cheat us, and gotten burned by their own doings...

expect to feel pretty slick...

even if it's all a matter of luck...

in fact, this must be some great astrologic one-armed bandit that's coughing up a jackpot for us...

Luna BiQuintiles the Dragon's Head (in its Trine to Libra Sol) @8:35 AM

Expect to have a lot of fun right now, and to feel a lot more calm about your immediate future...

maybe meaning the next few months until the end of the year...

something good has happened to you today, and nothing is going to change that...

Luna begins a brief Yod with a Sextile to Venus (in her Opposition to Piscean Neptune, and Quincunx to Aries Mars) @11:05 AM

okay, so you're the slightest bit disturbed by the fact that all of this good stuff was pure luck...

don't worry...

imposter syndrome may not be a myth — any power it has over you is all between your ears...

meaning: you get to choose to ignore it...

Luna Trines Neptune (in his Sextile to Capricorn Jupiter) @11:29 AM

there it is...

once you ignore imposter syndrome, it disappears...

poof...!

okay, maybe you find it hard to ignore it for anything longer than a few seconds at a time...

think of this as a meditation exercise...

Luna Sextiles Jupiter (in his Square to Mars) @12:39 PM

see... that's better...

seconds can actually turn into hours...

out of sight, out of mind, out of existence...

Luna completes that Yod with a Quincunx to Mars @1:08 PM

okay... it all comes back to you...

and yet, imposter syndrome reappearing doesn't mean it's any more real than when you'd forgotten about it...

Sol exactly Squares Saturn @2:58 PM

goodness gracious, here's that annoying business of art vs. practicality again...

real art is use-less...

meaning it's only purpose is itself...

that is, you are your art...

if art has any purpose at all it's to give you back a positive sense of yourself...

Venus exactly Opposes Neptune @3:49 PM

this is a really interesting development...

it's like switching from the one-armed bandits to some sort of card game...

poker or blackjack...

there are rules or techniques you can follow to improve your chances...

Luna begins another brief, but potent, Yod with a Sextile to Pluto @5:42 PM, and then completes that Yod with a Quincunx to the Dragon's Head @6:07 PM

okay, well, counting cards is certainly one of those techniques...

so is being able to read your opponents and their tells...

you've got some skills...

don't feel bad for using them to gain an edge...

Luna BiQuintiles Mars @10:32 PM

whatever this is, it's once again, pure luck...

and you've hit the jackpot again...

what's not to like about that...?

Luna Sextiles Saturn @10:43 PM, and goes Void of Course for 7 hours

do something about that imposter syndrome business, okay...?

you really do know better...

I'd suggest donating some tiny percentage of your winnings to the charity of your choice...

seriously...
