Pluto Squares
Lately, my life has been spinning so out of control. I can't seem to
find anything firm to hold on to (relationships, direction in life).
Just when I think things have settled down, a tornado-like storm hits.
With this upcoming full moon, do you see any relief in sight?

I am looking for some insight into my never ending situation. For the
past 4 years or so I have been climbing an uphill battle. Everything
in my life seems to go wrong. Career goals have been put on hold, an
endless battle with my spouse, no lucky breaks, etc.. I did make an
important decision this past August, (one of the most important in
recent years) and it has left me in even more confusion and frustration
(Was this really the right move or not?). .... I was hoping to find a glimpse
of where all this is heading. It seems just when I feel I will break free of this
cycle, it returns full force.

Well...the very good news is that transiting Pluto is currently in a Trine to your natal Moon / Mercury Conjunction. The very, very, very difficult news is that transiting Pluto is Squaring your Gen-X, natal Pluto in Virgo. I'll also throw in the Opposition of transiting Saturn to your natal Neptune...but let's not cloud the issue so soon.
ANY Pluto passage is going to disrupt your life. Even if it's something spectacularly pleasant...the real effect of winning the lottery is usually not exactly what people expect. It's very much like approaching the Burning Bush. Yes...it's the Deity...but don't get too close or you'll perish...and remember to remove your shoes...you're walking on sacred ground.
You're particular, natal Pluto...12th House Virgo... indicates an enormous sensitivity to the suffering of the world (and with a 10th House Cancer Sun, you've got to figure out how to nurture others without giving away the store). All of the whirlwind of difficulty about your life is reflecting a certain lack of boundaries. Transiting Pluto is showing you what happens when you decide to ride out the hurricane in your beach house in order to get that great video footage. Of course it's worth every ounce of risk...given that Trine to Luna and Mercury. The final effect should be to show you where you're going to have to make improvements and repairs. Success, after all, is to see that there's another step to be taken...and that the direction is indicated only by the most recent changes that have taken place.
Let me put it this way...going through this violent storm of Pluto is going to show you things that you wouldn't otherwise know or be able to learn in any other way. There is no way on earth to get through this time without enormous turmoil, difficult and frightening experiences of psychic suffering and endless battles to bail out the basement. This period in your life is no joke...but it is absolutely meant to be a blessing. Everything is meant to lead you towards genuine Wisdom and a more comfortable Maturity. Psyche is not trying to destroy you...but it is trying to knock down any inadequate structures you've tolerated.
Your Intuitive capacities should be the most affected by all of this. I suspect that after you've passed through the eye of the storm, and things begin to calm down...you'll find your Intuition much more finely honed and much more of a valuable tool with which to live your life. I haven't looked at the dates for all of this, but don't expect to be through this until 2001. In the meantime...treat this period as a visit from the gods. Something of your own personal Odyssey. Right now you're caught between Scylla and Charybdis.... Just know that there is definitely a way through them...you've just got to have the right attitude and the right perspective...that's all. That's ALOT!
Oh...by the way...with Jupiter in Aries in your House of Relationship...expect that good, healthy fights with your spouse are part of the growth of intimacy. Be careful about trying to cause pain...just do your best to fight fair...and the rest will take care of itself.
